Silent Syntax

Generative video / digital drawing, 2025

Silent Syntax translates the visual logic of Qinglü landscape painting into a language of light and motion.
Using algorithmic layering and shifting color gradients, the work reimagines mountains and mist as living sentences—each contour line a fragment of unspoken communication.
By transforming brush and pigment into digital code, the piece explores how visual traditions can be “read” like poetry and how digital media can both preserve and distort their rhythm.
Through this generative landscape, the work meditates on translation, perception, and the fragile boundary between image and language.
